FEHT Summer Camp Logo

This summer FEHT will  put on a one week camp focusing on Edge work, and skills.

Simply put edges are the most important aspect of skating! Without good edge control, a player will continuously struggle to become an efficient, and confident skater.

Edges are used in all aspects of hockey skating, including striding, crossovers, stops and starts, and glide turns. Becoming a superior skater all starts with exceptional edge control. Along with edge work, we will also focus on the most important skill a hockey player can possess. “WEIGHT SHIFTING”

Here at FEHT we believe weight shifting is the single most important skill to acquire, because it will allow a player to obtain more time and space.

When given more time and space a player is able to make more plays wether shooting, passing, or simply waiting for the play to develop. While playing hockey, every player is trying to achieve the same thing “ To make a Play”. In today’s day and age the player who creates the most time and space is the most dominant player on the Ice. With that being said, learning how to weight shift will take your child’s game to another level!

Let FEHT give  your son or daughter an edge above the rest!
